I don't read a whole lot of sci-fi, but when I read this "Power, romance, and destiny collide in this sweeping reimagining of Victor Hugo’s masterpiece, Les Misérables." I was sold.

TTT #33: My Favorite Books from the Past Three Years

Below are my Top Ten Books that I Would Classify As my ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOKS from what I read over the past 3 years.How did I narrow down my choices for this list? Well, it was very difficult so I tried to just focus on these two factors. Factor #1: Re-Readability. Was it so good that I plan on reading it again? If yes, then it made the list. Factor #2: How many feels did it give me? If it gave me ALL the feels then it made the list.

I love this week's topic. Some of these books on my list were ones I actually put on my Christmas list to my parents and some of these are ones I just now thought of and wish I would have put on my list. I may have to do a Christmas loot post when I get back from vacation if I get enough bookish goodies to share with you all. *The titles are linked up to goodreads if you would like to find out more about each book.

The Young Adult Books I Would Advise Santa to Bring Me
1. Compulsion by Martina Boone sounds like a Gothic young adult novel I don't want to miss.
2. H20 (The Rain) by Virginia Bergin - What if rain was deadly? I want to know.
3. Every Breath by Ellie Marney - I must read this Sherlock book. 
4. So far I have only heard good things about Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay.
5. I'm too intrigued to pass up on reading Hit by Lorie Ann Grover.

The Adult Books Santa Should Really Bring Me
6. I need to read a Neil Gaiman book and since American Gods is the most read book in my state I'm going to start there.
7. The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin is supposed to be incredibly good with the MC's love of books at its core.
8.  I fell in love with the hilarious Amy Poehler when I started watching Parks and Recreation. Now I can't wait to read her book Yes Please.

These Two Very Special Books Would Make Great Gifts... Just Saying.
9. I only own a not so pretty version of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë and I would love to own the beautiful version below instead.
10. I would love to receive Percy Jackson's Greek Gods by Rick Riordan for Christmas.

TTT #24: My Top Ten Deserted Island Friends

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish.

I love this week's topic! If only it was real. Maybe. Kind of. Yes. No. Well.. if I did ever end up on a deserted island I hope it goes exactly as I have planned below.  In no particular order here are the top ten characters I'd want with me on a deserted island.

~ I will need to be fed. I can't hunt. Enough said.

~ He is freaking adorable beyond words. He would keep me safe always. (Once I figure out how to get rid of his actual owner.)

~ He would be loads of fun to hang out with. Not to mention that if need be I'm sure he could find a way to get me off the island. He is the son of Poseidon after all.

~ I just love them and would love for them to hang out with me all day every day.

~ I'm sure she would be able to find me some fresh water to drink.

~ She attracts bad luck like no other, I would feel lucky around her even if I was trapped on a deserted island. She is also a good friend.

~ She kicks major butt. I would throw Chaol in there as well so she could be with her love and so I could have some eye candy and have a good leader, although maybe if just Chaol came he could be mine... but I'm already married so I guess that wouldn't work out. (Yes, obviously me being married is the only problem with this scenario.) So I'm going with just Celaena this time.

~ I would probably need some comic relief, we all would. (I know I have both of them listed. Let me be.)
