Yup, we all heard about a Hunger Games themed summer camp, and now apparently a Divergent one is in the works. It sounds fun and pricey.

If you love graphs and want to know what others think of their TBR piles, then you must read the results of The Great TBR Poll over at Book Riot.

Blog Posts

I found a fun new bookish meme hosted by Bewitched Bookworms that I found through Curling Up With A Good Book. This week's topic was authors that you recommend to everyone.

Because I find picture books amazingly adorable and fun, and I'm making a must have list of books for my future children (yes, that is kind of crazy because my husband and I don't even want to start trying for another two years) therefore, I love The Hiding Spot's Story Time feature.

There are so many awesome new features I stumbled upon this past week. Another hit was Writer of Wrongs' Movie Mondays! She shares her dream cast for her favorite books. This week's book was Cinder.

Just because it is funny and because we have all been there before, read The Perpetual Page-Turner's post: Do Not Read In Public!

News

These Broken Stars is going to be hitting the small screen.  This book just came out last month and I haven't even read it yet, and already it is being made into a television show. I feel like everything lately is based off of books. I love it and yet it makes me nervous.

As an English major myself I found this list of 16 signs that you were an English major spot on.

I'm not a big science fiction fan when it comes to books and I'm not sure why. I have no problem watching science fiction movies or television shows (although I only watch a select few). I guess I'm just nervous because sometimes things are just a little too weird for me in science fiction books. Either way, instead of continuing to read my ramblings, you should read this post Your'e a Sci-Fan and You Don't Even Know It.

If you are a writer or know someone that is then you really should read The Sweet Bookshelf's post about how to properly be a writer's friend. It has some good advice on there.

I have the perfect post for you to read if you are in the mood for a laugh. Stop by Book Love so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy her Funny Friday post.

The Novel Hermit has started a new feature on her blog all about different types of fonts. It is interesting and worth a peek.

The first look of Outlander is here! (I know another book to t.v. adaptation, but I guess I'm a sucker.)

News

J.K. Rowling is writing a Harry Potter prequel for the stage. I'm down with this. (I'm trying to sound calm and not act like a crazy overexcited person.)

They decided on a tagline for the book to movie adaptation for The Fault in Our Stars, and I seriously can't believe it. It reads: "One sick love story." Ugh.

Do you want to see which books sold the most in 2013? It is an interesting but not too surprising of a list.

We finally discovered who leaked that J.K. Rowling was writing as Robert Galbraith. J.K. was/is not happy and I don't blame her.

I feel like not enough people appreciate libraries as much as they should as of late, and that makes me said. Read these beautiful quotes about libraries.

There is a Bout of Books read-a-thon that begins tomorrow! There is still time to sign up. I have yet to decide if I am going to, but I thought I would share this with you in case you want to participate.

If you are ever worried about plagiarism then I suggest you take a peek at this post over at Dear, Restless Reader.

I am sure all of you who follow my blog know that I am a Harry Potter fan. Therefore, this post over at Writer of Wrongs, 20 Signs You're From the Harry Potter Generation, made my day. I really could relate. If you are a HP fan you will enjoy this.

My Christmas Loot

My husband rocked my world this Christmas by getting me the new HP box set! It is even more gorgeous in person!!
I'm glad my mother-in-law is a reader as well, because I always get at least one book from her for Christmas.
I received a total of $80 in Barnes and Noble gift cards thanks to my parents and my brother-in-law! I can't wait to spend them.

Did you get anything bookish for Christmas? Do you have some bookish news to share? Comment below!
