Month in Review - November Edition

~ November Edition

What happened on the blog? (It was a slower month)

What went down behind the blog?

  • I met Joelle Charbanue, author of The Testing trilogy! I got a signed copy of her new book Need.
  • Thanksgiving has come and gone. I ate a lot, savored my time with family, and actually had three whole days off of work! I may love my jobs, but I enjoyed every second of my time off. Now my husband and I for the very first time get to decorate our house for Christmas. :D
  • I saw the new Peanuts movie in theaters. It was adorable and hilarious. A great movie for the whole family!
  • Raking leaves was both fun and a chore. It took us forever! We had sooo many leaves. This isn't even half of them!
  • I started shopping for my #TBTBSanta! This is my first year participating and I am having a blast!

  1. Ooh, #TBTBSanta is the best! I believe this is my fourth year doing it, and I just love it. I love being able to give bookish presents and receive some in turn. Also, yay for Winter being your favorite read and Jessica Jones being your Netflix obsession! Both were highlights of November, in my opinion.

    1. I feel like I couldn't have asked for a better way to end that series. You MUST watch Jessica Jones. It is so so very good.

  3. Winter was also my favorite book I read in the month of November. I definitely want to pick up Wolf by Wolf. Have you read Ryan's other book The Walled City? If you haven't, I suggest you read that one too! It's a great book that's fast-paced and has a great plot twist and characters. I know nothing about Wolf by Wolf but that cover is too interesting.

  5. Sweet! Signed copies are always fun to get plus meeting an author ~ that's awesome. Have you read any other books by that author?
Ah! The Peanuts Movie! I'll probably wait until it comes out to see it. I'm sure I'll love it.
Interested to see what you think of The Song of Achilles ~ I hear it's really good.

    1. I read her Testing trilogy and it was really really good! You should give it a try if you haven't yet. All the books are out already. It's a dystopian book, but it was unique and had a very clever main character that I just loved.

  6. Oh how fun that you met Joelle Charbonneau! I still need to read her new book! It sounds like you had a great month minus all of the raking ;) I hope December is going well (since I am so behind on commenting)
