  1. Yay for Open Road Summer! I wasn't sure how I felt about reading These Broken Stars but ended up really enjoying it.

    1. I really do need to read Open Road Summer. What am I waiting for?

  2. I'm kind of interested in These Broken Stars, but it may be just because I like the cover and title. You have to read Code Name Verity ASAP! It's brilliant. (And the only one on your list that I have actually read, but still.)

    1. The cover is very pretty. I have only heard good things of Code Name Verity. Once again, I don't know what is keeping me from that book!

  3. I'd reconsider These Broken Stars. It's worth the hype.

  4. Eep! Vampire Academy! Go for it! :D Red Rising and Open Road Summer both look good. I heard they're really awesome as well. :)

    1. I liked so many of Rowell's books so far and yet I still haven't read Elanor and Park. Why? I don't know.

  6. I'm planning to read The Selection soon (like later this week I think) and TMI later this fall but I'm with you on These Broken Stars. I have it already but I don't know that I'll ever read it.

    1. I have heard some mixed reviews of These Broken Stars and The Selection. Sometimes after a book sits on my TBR pile for a super long time I loose interest and will probably never read it.

  7. I haven't read any of these, but I plan to at some point! Especially the Girl on the Train!

  9. i actually really liked the selection and not sure why. it aggrivated me but I was drawn to it.it was like a guilty pleasure read for me. it was compelling for some reason and i really ate up the series. City of bones is okay. The later installments i think are much better, but yet i have the last one still to read. These broken stars was pretty good. i really liked that one too. I need to read Red Rising one day. Girl on the train is on my summer reading list. looking for alaska was ok my least favorite of Green's and I loved Elenor and Park.. great list.

    1. Sometimes a guilty pleasure is just what you need. I can't wait to give Elenor and Park a try! I have heard so many crazy good things about it.

  10. Really? Why don't you plan on reading The Selection of City of Bones? I'm reading The Selection soon so I'm really curious why you don't want to. I've read City of Bones and I thought it was pretty good but I've read spoilers of what happens in the series and I think it's weird. Why don't you want to read it?
I have all of The Vampire Academy series on loan from the library. I read the first one and enjoyed it so I'm going to finish the series off. It's a good book. I'll let you know if the series is worth reading (:

    1. I just lost interest in reading The Selection and read some iffy reviews. As for City of Bones... I too heard some weird stuff about the plot and just don't think it's my thing.

I'm glad you are liking Vampire Academy to start. I cant wait to start that one! Please keep me updated on the other books as you read them! :D

  11. Oh dead god I hope you love Red Rising. My heart won't be able to take it otherwise. But also know that Golden Son is a billion times more epic than just about any book ever so you must read that regardless. How's that for hype. (sorry)

  12. DD: Not reading City of Bones? But I LOVE that series like crazy! I am hoping to read These Broken Stars at some point myself. I have read Looking for Alaska, but I didn't really like it. I hope the two you do intend to read turn out to be really good though!

  13. I'm going to read Red Rising for book club later this year -- I'm not sure I would pick it up otherwise, but color me intrigued!
