Library Loot #18

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

    1. Thanks! I was trying to find a way to share why I chose each book without it being too lengthy, I'm glad my idea worked. I can't wait to read Human Remains, I think it is going to be one of those books where I read it with the lights on, and I mean all the lights on in my entire apartment. :)

  2. I have got to check out that Grammar Girl book! I think I'll get a kick out of it. So excited you'll be reading Panic and The Winner's Curse -- I've been eying both of them and it's been a while since I've been excited about brand new YA books -- having a hard time sifting through the sheer volume of books lately, I think. AND I have a neglected Elizabeth Haynes ARC I plan to read soon and have a feeling I'm really going to like her stuff, or at least I hope so -- I love a good scare every once in a while :)

    1. I think the Grammar Girl book is going to be a hoot to read. I'll let you know. I've heard so many different reviews on Panic, I can't wait to try it out for myself. It sounds pretty unique. This is my first Elizabeth Haynes novel...I think It's going to give me the creeps, which means I will be reading it with the lights on, and not alone. haha

  3. I want to read that grammar book. It looks fantastic. Hilarious grammar books are an interesting phenomenon. I can think of about 6 right now.

    1. Thanks! Obsidian was somewhat of a let down for me, but I am going to give the second book a try.

    1. I just started Panic and just finished Obsidian. Panic is pretty good so far, but I can tell it is starting to pick up and get better. Obsidian was just okay for me. :(

  7. I really loved Obsidian and enjoyed The Winner's Curse as well. I'm a big fan or Lauren Oliver, but I didn't love Panic. Your library has some great books!

    1. So far I'm not loving Panic either...I'm about half way through. :( I'm very lucky, my library is on the bigger size and I also seem to find the best books.
