The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 9.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

Looking Back...
Although I was half a book short from reaching my goal of reading 5 books in one week, I am still pretty excited I read 4 1/2 books total, double what I normally read in a week. I also participated in two fun challenges. I didn't find as many new book blogs as I would have liked, but I did find one pretty cool one. :) Overall, I think I did just fine this read-a-thon and can't wait to participate again next time!
I can't imagine reading that many books in a week, though I wish I could! I'm especially looking forward to your thoughts on Two Boys Kissing, I keep forgetting about that one. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteI can't either but I'm going to give it a shot. I can't wait to read Two Boys Kissing, for some reason I keep putting it off.
DeleteYay! Four of those were great reads for me. Enjoy! I'll be interested to hear what you think of The Returned.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that they were great! I will keep you posted. :)
DeleteHow is Attachments? I really loved Fangirl and want to go back and read the rest of Rainbow Rowell's books this year. Good luck with your goals. I am making sure I keep notes as well and/or writing the review rough drafts the next day so I don't forget. My Update
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!!
You are doing great! I hope you liked Attachments. I just finished Fangirl which was really good, so I am wondering if her other books are as good. Good luck with the rest of the read-a-thon and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAHHHH You've read such good books so far! And you are doing so well! You totally got this!! Can't wait to compare thoughts on some of these! Great way to start off 2014!
ReplyDeleteI use a lot of exclamation points...
