Some (ok, most?) of the Book Shimmy winners depress me and I know that is probably not fair and not everyone has the same tastes in books but I feel like there are so many better books than those ones hah - ok rant over. And all of these gift guides make me want to buy all of the bookish things - I even made my own list I think I might post Thursday and the sad thing is I probably won't get any of these things (womp, womp) - ok pity party over. What else can I complain about? ;) Oh, maybe the fact that I DON"T KNOW IF I LIKE PAPERBACKS OR HARDBACKS MORE AND I JUST WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO CHOOSE. Ok, that's all for now :) Wait, on a positive note - I am glad you are in my club :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't agree with a lot of the Book Shimmy award winners either. Panic won best standalone and I didn't really enjoy that one and a lot of the other ones I didn't even read.
DeleteI want so many bookish things. So many. Your list didn't help my obsession at all. ;)
